Free cleaning and inspection

We have a full-service on-site goldsmith, Luu, who has been in the jewellery industry and production for his entire life, like his father before him. He comes to us through Birks and with over 35 years of hands-on repair and custom manufacturing – there is simply nothing he cannot do. Engagement rings, wedding bands, necklaces, earrings, bracelets, and timepieces are all worked on, and all work is estimated at no charge.

Repairs include:

  • Ring sizes and shank soldering

  • Soldering rings together

  • Rhodium plating

  • Chain soldering

  • Clasp replacement

  • Insurance replacement

  • Heirloom restoration

  • Appraisals

  • Engraving

  • Pearl restringing

  • Claws/prongs tightening or building up

  • Diamond and gemstone replacement

  • Free cleaning, inspections and estimates on everything

Expected turnaround time for a simple repair such as ring sizing or chain soldering and tipping is 2 days. All other repairs will be estimated to you when we view your item.

Timepiece Repairs

Watch batteries, and sizing can be done on-site. If we cannot do so due to the difficult nature of dive watches, or a name brand which needs a specific tool, our watch expert will take care of this off-site. All repairs are estimated at no charge.

Overhauls include a 1-year warranty.
