Okotoks Big Rock
Tourists come from far and wide to view this enormous glacial erratic. The 16,500-tonne was moved by rockslide and a glacial sheet of ice 10,000 to 30,000 years ago to its present-day location west of Okotoks. This phenomenon makes for a pretty awesome backdrop to get down on one knee.
Marv's Classic Soda Shop
This place is a serious hidden gem! This 1950's themed restaurant is located in Black Diamond and features Canada's only working soda fountain. Popular for made-in-house Alberta beef burgers and old-fashioned milkshakes they carry a huge selection of candy as well.
